Equally meaningful has been my work with high school students, where I taught self-esteem and personal grooming, empowering young people with confidence that extends far beyond appearance.
Today, as a salon owner, I’ve created a welcoming space focused on the everyday client — combining skill, care, and a belief that looking your best can help you feel your best. Not only am I a proud co-owner of the first Alfaparf branded salon in North America, but I have gone through education, training, and product knowledge courses, to become a certified Alfaparf master stylist.
Hello, My name is Ramsey, I am a celebrity master stylist with over 30 years of industry experience and the owner of two successful and thriving salons in Ottawa. I opened Texture Hair Salon in 2000 and ten years later I opened Texture Hair Boutique. I take great pride in our award winning team of Stylists and although I have been a mentor to them – I draw inspiration from them everyday. I am very proud of my career to date, but there is still so much more to learn and do!
In addition to working in the salon, I’ve worked as a columnist, on television sets and competed in many hair competitions. As a Professional Consultant I have traveled all over North America – trying to make my mark on the industry. I have attended many educational seminars around the world on both hairstyling and business.

I’m Anna, I am just as much a people person as I am an animal person. I love getting to know new people, I’m an east coast girl so hospitality and sociability are in my blood. Currently I am the salon manager and baby stylist here at Texture, however my goal is to get my license and start doing full time hair along side my wonderfully talented mentors.
